It is no longer a time for me to walk the path of the majority, but rather, to follow, with courage that which my heart desires to give for the greater good of all.
Through writing and art, I am dedicated to creating what I envision.
Through putting myself in the presence of others, I am committed to supporting another in their desires or even, with their permission, identifying what truly is within them to express, not as the majority thinks it ought to be expressed, but in the way that most please each individual.
As an elder, I must put forth what I have learned for others to take what fits them while leaving what doesn't.
I can see within the heart of others what cries out to be expressed and it is now my job to support that expression in the best interest of all people and life.
And this must all be done with kindness and love.
Through the eyes of a child, the grown up world is giant, chaotic, and can be hurtful and confusing, but love and respect make all of this tolerable --so much so that beauty and joy emerge.
Hi, Lynn. I was writing this morning about a fairy that shows up in a book called The Fairies' Oracle, by Brian Froud. I had intended for my book to be about the main character becoming Epona, a goddess, but I recalled the information I liked best about Epona was in the fairy book. So I found the fairy card involving Epona and it really is called "Epona's Wild Daughter" and her name is Dorcha. She is a fairy. So I am putting her in the novel and don't know that the main character will become either but I really enjoy the description of Dorcha in Brian's book. She helps people work through their shadows. Of course, I love all that!
