The Year the Nature Fairies Have Waited

Catching up

As a spokesperson for the Nature Fairies (Whispers of Wisdom: Reclaiming the Fairies, tbp), I have spent this year trying many ways to create the new chapter in which I've arrived. As I've been doing this, the Nature Fairies have waited patiently. Languishing in two slush piles at publisher's desks, they have not complained. Both publishers are reputable and I would be pleased, if it is the will of my soul and the wish of the fairies, for them to find a publishing home from which they can fly to those who wish to reexperience their own inner fairies.

It is my intent to do what I can to aid their flight in the coming months. They are ready. I am ready to start groups to assist others to reconnect with their own fiaires, the innocent, pure, caring part within that, indeed whispers wisdom to anyone with ears to hear and internal eyes to see their elemental gifts sfrom ancient times.

The Book: Whispers of Wisdom: Reclaiming the Fairies

Whispers of Wisdom: Reclaiming the Fairies is a book that, after fifty years, reintroduces me to the Buttercup Fairy of my childhood. Beautifully illustrated by Roberta Masciarelli, each of the subsequent visitations by Nature Fairies that lived in the woods of Central Texas come to life: Fog Fairies, Wind Fairies, Fire Fairies, Ashen Fairies, Ice Fairies, and Rain Fairies. Each taught me about the wisdom of their being--wisdom that I can use in my daily life. And so, because of them, I have been able to blossom. My ability to understand the limitation of the human physical world has expanded. And the limitations of that physical existence has been replaced by the lesson each Nature Fairy brings to me, an adult woman whose emotional flexibility has expanded to birth the processes needed to adjust to the current Earth World.

I look forward to sharing excerpts from the book and ask only that you share bits and pieces of it with those you know who, at least, may be able to consider what they have to share in return. Or, share with others who can wholeheartedly embrace their energy and flow with their ancient wisdom.

My Request to You

I would like to hear from you about any experiences you had as a child: perhaps you had a secret fairy in the attic or garden; an awakening of the joy and innocence of your own inner being; or a delight of nature. It doesn't matter how you experienced the fairies. It matters that you remember.

What Whispers of Wisdom is Not About

The Nature Fairies with which I have been blessed are not little flitty beings that take on humanoid forms and have been written about endlessly. They are not a part a genre of writing called: Faery Lore. They are my own individual representation of my own inner joy--known to me as a child and re-awakened after a half a century of living. Your fairies will more than likely be experienced by you in another form. So be it. We are each our own person and, thus, our fairies will take their own special forms. But, I wonder if they may not carry much the same wisdom communicated by my Nature Fairies. Let's see.

Posting Times

I anticipate posting weekends so you can read the Fairy blog the first of each week. I wish to add your stories, thoughts, and experiences. As long as they are your own experiences and not something written about in "the literature of fairy lore or fairy tales," I welcome your involvement in this blog. I look forward to getting to know you and your fairies.

Here's to Fairies Forever,
Lynn

A Child's-Eye View

A Child's-Eye View

Through the eyes of a child, the grown up world is giant, chaotic, and can be hurtful and confusing, but love and respect make all of this tolerable --so much so that beauty and joy emerge.

The Fairies Call

My one and only calling for the next while is to listen for direction from the nature fairies who first visited me in 1940. When I forgot them as I prepared to go to school to learn I sealed my heart and mind to the magical, innocent world of creativity and joy. But, not to be indefinitely put off, the fairies managed to find a way to re-establish communication in 1994 when I no longer needed to propel my attention to the everyday world of "keeping up" to support my self-sufficiencey and those who had been dependent upon me for many years.

Moving to the woods of Central Texas, I heard the fairies calling and began a fifteen year relationship with them that only now is culminating in their release for others to hear, enjoy, and learn from.

Joined by artist Robbie Mas, Whispers of Wisdom: Reclaiming the Fairies is ready to find its home in the world outside of the stage of our minds. It is my job to listen attentively to the pursuasion they communicate to me that will lead to the path they wish to follow so others may read their story, view their portraits, and enjoy their messages.

So this day, I commit to the job of listening and soon, I'll be able to tell you and show you how to make contact with the nature fairies that came to me: Buttercup Fairy, the Fog Fairies, Wind Fairies, Fire Fairies, Ashen Fairies, Ice Fairies, and Rain Fairies.

Each with her special brand of wisdom encourages us to listen attentively to the fairies that wish to be known through us. I'm already blessed with future fairy friends who have put me on notice by sending a commitment to speak through me in the future, namely The Tundra Fairies, the Tidewater Pool Fairies, and the Fairies of the City.

I plan to share weekly on this blog about the fairy odyssey I am taking. And, when I hear directly from any of my Fairy Friends. I will pass the messages on to you. I also invite you to tell me about what you hear from your Fairy Friends.

If you have had experiences with fairies as a child whether they've returned or not, I would like to hear what that was like for you. And if you are currently working with fairies that have set up a dialogue or sharing with you, I and those who use this site would like to hear about it. I will post those that I hear about and look forward to hearing from you.
